1. To enter Creditnet.com's "Get Some Credit¢ents" Sweepstakes online, visit www.creditnet.com/creditcents/sweepstakes and follow the steps, which include (1)reading a short article about credit, (2)successfully completing an online quiz, and (3)submitting an entry form. Entry form must be filled out completely and accurately with name, date of birth, full school name, phone number (including area code), and a valid e-mail address. Online entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM Pacific Time on 8/1/09; Limit of one online entry per person. Entrants who apply for a new student credit card and receive approval from the credit issuer will be given an additional entry into sweepstakes. Entries become the sole property of Creditnet.com ("Sponsor") and will not be acknowledged or returned. All entries are subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy and expressly incorporated herein by reference. Any form of entry other than those described herein is void. Sponsor and their agents are not responsible for incorrect, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, or incomplete entries. Sponsor and their agents are not responsible for computer system or phone line errors, software/hardware malfunctions, or other errors, failures, or delays in transmission that are human, mechanical or technical in nature, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from entering any part of this sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes should a virus, bug, or other cause beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration or proper conduct of the sweepstakes and all online entries submitted at the time of cancellation or suspension will be considered in the random drawing. This sweepstakes shall be governed by Washington State law. By entering, participating or accepting any prize in this sweepstakes, you agree that Washington State courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this sweepstakes and that venue shall be only in Seattle, Washington.
2. Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the U.S. (excluding PR, GU, VI and all other US dependent areas), age 18 or older and enrolled in a degree accredited college or university. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate families and residents of their households are not eligible. Anyone who attempts to defraud or in any way tamper with the sweepstakes will be deemed ineligible, and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Void outside the United States of America, and where prohibited or restricted by law. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received. Estimated Internet circulation of offer is 1,000,000 impressions.
3. Prize and prize value: One (1) Grand Prize: $500 reimbursement for Tuition and Book expenses. Tuition and Book expenses include full and part-time tuition and any books required for enrolled courses; however, it does not include charges such as room and board charges, activities fees, registration/class/orientation fees, facilities/lab fees, and any and all other charges to attend the degree accredited college or university that are not stated as tuition. The winner will be required to submit purchase receipts, which indicate amount spent on tuition and books. The $500 prize will then be issued in check form and made payable to the winner. In order to be eligible to receive the Grand Prize, the potential winner must also provide proof of actual enrollment in a degree accredited college or university by 10/30/2009 and permit and authorize such college or university to provide Sponsor with verification and confirmation of enrollment. Winner must show proof by 10/30/2009 or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Total value of prize: $500 USD maximum. By accepting any prize, the winner agrees (and will certify in the Liability/Publicity Release referred to below) that he or she is solely responsible for any affect accepting such a prize may have on scholarship eligibility or other consequences of accepting such a prize. Prize is nontransferable.
4. One potential winner will be selected from all eligible entries received, in a random drawing conducted on or about 10/01/09 by Sponsor and whose decisions are final. The Sponsor will attempt to contact the potential winner by phone or email and the potential winner must respond within 14 days following notification attempt or an alternate potential winner will be selected. The potential winner will be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release, which must be returned within 14 days or an alternate potential winner will be selected. Any prize notification letter or affidavit or other documents described in these Official Rules that are returned as undeliverable or any failure to comply with these Official Rules, will result in a forfeiture of eligibility to win any prize. Taxes are the winner's responsibility. Prize acceptance and execution of the Liability/Publicity Release constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner's name and likeness for publicity purposes without additional compensation. Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees and their agents are not liable in any way for any winner's acceptance or use of a prize.
5. By entering, participating or accepting any prize, you agree that the Sponsor has the sole right to decide all matters and disputes arising from this sweepstakes and that no promotional agents or affiliates will be held liable for any element of the sweepstakes administration. The sweepstakes administration and prize is the sole responsibility of the Sponsor. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and that all decisions of Sponsor on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final. Winners release Sponsor, their directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage, including any third party claims, arising from or relating to, in whole or in part, this sweepstakes, including entry and participation in this sweepstakes and acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize. You further agree that in the event of any third party claims, damages, losses or injuries, arising from or relating to this sweepstakes arising from their entry, participation or acceptance of any prize, you indemnify Sponsor, its directors, officers, employees and agents from any and all such claims, including reasonable attorneys' fees related thereto.
