The Citi Forward® Card for College Students rewards financially responsible students in many different ways. For students who pay on time and stay within their credit limit, this card will reward you with 100 bonus points per billing period and a potential reduction of your interest rate! For every three months in a row of making a purchase that you stay within their credit limit and pay on time, you'll receive a reduction of .25% of their interest rate. Cardholders are eligible for eight reductions, up to a total of 2% in reductions!
Cardholders will also receive bonus points in addition to those earned for paying on time and staying within their credit limit. The Citi Forward® Card for College Students rewards you with 1,000 bonus points when you sign up for paperless statements within your first 3 months of opening your account.
The Citi Forward® Card for College Students also rewards you for each dollar you charge to the card. Besides obtaining a higher education and preparing for the "real world", college is also about having fun! So Citibank rewards cardholders with 5 points per dollar spent at restaurants, book stores, video rental stores and movie theaters; all other purchases will earn you 1 point per dollar. When you've stocked up enough points, you can redeem them through the ThankYou Network for travel, cash, music, merchandise, gift cards, and more.
