The Citi® Dividend Platinum Select® Card for College Students is a great student credit card that offers cash back. For the first six months, you'll earn 5% cash back on groceries, gas, drugstores, and utilities (such as cable). Free enrollment also lets you earn 2% in rotating categories, such as clothing, restaurants, hotels, and more. On everything else outside of these categories, you'll still earn 1% cash back.
Shop through the Citi Bonus Cash Center® and you'll earn an average of 5% cash back year round. These bonuses are unlimited. Bonuses earned outside the Citi Bonus Cash Center® are subject to a $300 per year maximum.
If you have balances to transfer from higher interest credit cards, you'll earn 5 Dividend Dollars for each transfer of $1,500 or more. Once you've earned 50 Dividend Dollars, you'll automatically receive a check for $50.
