Chase Freedom Card Offers $75 Cash Back at Amazon.com

December 28th, 2011

Chase Freedom Card

Do you have some post-holiday shopping you’ve been wanting to do for yourself?

If so, Chase just announced a great new promotion for Chase Freedom cardholders to kick off 2012.  When you shop at Amazon.com from 1/1/12 through 3/31/12, you can earn 5% cash back on up to $1,500 in purchases.  That’s $75 cash back, which is really a great deal for a credit card with no annual fee.

So if you’re not too happy with that power washer and all the Costco socks you got for Christmas this year, New Year’s Day will be the perfect time to head over to Amazon.com and treat yourself to all the things you really wanted from Santa this year.

Not able to spend the full $1,500 at Amazon?  No worries.  Chase is also offering 5% cash back on up to $1,5000 spent at gas stations during the same time period, so you can still hit the $75 cash back maximum by splitting your spend between gas stations and Amazon.com.

Don’t forget to sign up for the promotion though.  As with all Chase Freedom Card bonuses, you’ll need to access your account online and activate your bonus each and every quarter.
